10.40pm. Was driving home after meeting Fish to handover the funds for Child @ St11 when over the radio on 933, came a song.
there was once, along the roads outside Dieppe Barracks, when She asked, what's your favourite song.
geez, tough one. but something came to my mind as i fiddled with the controls, searching for that track.

it was the same song She had in mind.. i remembered something in my chest was pounding and it really is, a pleasant surprise..
How far we have come together, i guess She's waking up soon to get ready to get to the Airport. really really missed her, these 5 months.. now, She's coming home. and when She sees this, She'd probably be home resting after the long flight..

Sun setting in the west, in the west. moments before my friend brandished her Incanto in preparation of meeting her boyfriend. that familiar soft scent.. it really has been sometime.
and it also has been sometime since i ordered red tea longan, but the last time i ordered.. was dining with Her and Her family, and just before it, 2 bowls for me and Her that night in October. this day, i ordered 3, 1 for Yuchao, 1 for Peishi and 1 for myself..
another sunset picture, which i took today before going out ot jog. though we may not see much horizons as someone specially requested in Singapore, there will come days amidst many others where i pray that we will be together looking at the same sunset, and looking back at days like now - how far we would have come through together.
coming through together - 3 simple words that means so much.. some say expectation kills, but i say it is with expectation - the expectation of a tomorrow, the expectation of an improvement, the expectation of a better day - that we expect to live and not merely lived. I remembered, a long time ago, in a place they call the Wellness Centre, Her friend once asked - "where are you going for exchange?" , "Minnesota" My heart dropped, I knew that i wouldnt have much time left to try and win Her heart, i was afraid. but i am glad that i went ahead, wrong, WE went ahead, and for all the effort we put it. We have come to this point.. 9 days... how close, i almost forgotten, for the past 143 days was just days after days of calendar marking, friends asking, "when will she be back?"

Singapore, 7.20pm, 21st May 2007 The little bright speck at the top is the crescent moon. The same side of the moon, watching over you dear, all these distance and this vast great ocean away. Yet, we are facing the same side of the moon.
I had a photo, that was similar to this, except for some reason or another, i remember that it felt a little more gloomy and cloudy than this.. :) i like this one more.
As i clicked on the snap button on the phone, it then struck me that dawn's in the US, this exact sun, this fading sun into the West.. is the same sun that She'd see rising there. Perhaps, She might be indoors, and not staring at the vast blue sky as i was but i was somehow, happy and contented that, any ray of light, transpiring through even windows in the big airport complex or the train towards the airport.. is from the same sun as i was seeing it set.

they always said, a picture is worth a thousand words. i love pictures too, for a simple fact that it captures the moment, through the lenses. a pity, a pity because as i stepped into the house, at the gate, i looked up and saw a clear night sky. a thousand words wouldnt have been enough to describe the stars i've seen.. though they might not be as bright or numerous as seen else where, but it's been a long, time i've seen the night sky filled with stars, like on Friday night.
i wished, quietly that you were here with me - as my dad walked out of the living room and said a few words. i wished that you could see what i saw, nothing spectacular but just, in my opinion, a sight that reminds me... of the wish i have, to have many more days of you, in my life. through the hustle and bustle of day to day and through life's simple moments and through life's beautiful moments where it takes our breath away.
I started the term with some shots of school and now, shall end the term with these 2.. After the last paper of the term, in business block.

Fast fowarded to yesterday, the backgate of the company.. can see the guard house on the right, quite friendly people and courteous too though they know i am just an intern.
moving out of the gate, leaving for the ph meeting.. and looking right, it was brilliant yellow - the sunset.. something She likes and i hope can get to watch with her one day soon.
walking from Bugis mrt towards Alawi St.. they timed how long i might need to get there - if i would exceed 20 mins. haha, i took 18, with 5 mins going towards walking in another direction, getting a calling card. hohohoho NOT BAD RITE. ahah :S heng heng lah.
after the meeting ended near 9.45pm, we tried to cabbed down to Clark Quay for a small gathering with the rest, was going to give it a miss as i wont be able to hear Her properly in the cab i figure, and now, the bus confirmed also cmi. haha.. but i forgot the timing and didnt update my organiser.. called an hour early, so sorry...
well, in all, work has been quite draining.. it's almost nonstop the moment i reached the office, till i log off the computer in the evening. though time passes by very rapidly this way, somehow i know that it's not an easy period as it's Her final lap now.. feel a bit bad because of that.
my heart is always with You. it has never left Your side.. jiayou and godspeed for this last leg before San Diego.. hooo! haha.. i miss You. :)
and oh yeah, the travel restriction is 1 litre of Spirits (Vodka, hard liquor etc..) and 1 litre of Wine [ice wine.. :)] and 1 litre of beer .... in total when you pass through the Singapore Customs.. :)

rain died down and signs of clearing up after 1 toilet break. as though someone turned the tap off up there.. after ... nvm. haha
been quite an "eventful" week 11, FIIM is down to the last report and presentation, is now scheduled on week 13, straight after the final test. -.- and yes, mr jana wont be releasing the important summaries for the various instruments and the lectures... jialat. haha.. so that means, marketing test , fiim test and project due on week 13.
mpw and marketing projects would be on week 14 itself.. mpw has been off to a pretty slow start as the meeting on wednesday was pushed back... do hope we'll catch up in time. oh yeah, seems like there might be a need to extract my wisdom tooth after the last presentation on week 14, as internship will start on the 16th of April.. so soon sia =\
well, there are bright spots in life too.. haha speaking of which, was very fortunate that i got accepted so quickly.. hope it'll be a great experience.. things are looking a bit better as i managed to complete much of the last BP assignment today and did almost half of the allocated FIIM final project portion.. got vodcast of mr kang ming and erm, miss PS eating tau hway : http://www.mypaper.sg/myvodcast/20070313bean_a/20070313bean_main.html
but the best thing is getting to talk to HER a little this few days and receiving smses from Harvard, it was a very heartwarming feeling... thank you =) hope you have fun...!!!!! haha..
